This webform is specifically intended for those individuals seeking to restrict the disclosure of their information due to a risk of harm or similar threat.

Importantly, if you are a resident of California, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas, Oregon, Montana, Iowa, Delaware, Nebraska, New Hampshire, or New Jersey, and you are seeking to submit a request to opt-out under the California Consumer Privacy Act or similar state privacy law, please do not use this form. IDI will evaluate submissions made via this form, provided the applicant fulfills one of the following criteria. It's important to note that our products and services are intended to support functions like fraud detection and prevention, identity verification, risk management, and similar activities. Accordingly, IDI reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to grant or deny your request unless you are an individual afforded a legal right to non-disclosure/opt-out.

You are an individual afforded a legal right to non-disclosure/opt-out due to a risk of harm or similar threat.

  • Please specify the particular law that affords you protection and provide sufficient support for IDI to determine whether you fall within the categories of persons protected by the law. For example, if you are protected by a law that affords protection to individuals working in a particular field or occupation, your request should specify that you work within that field or occupation. Please note that IDI may contact you for proof of your employment in this field or occupation, such as an employee identification card, badge number, or employment letter from your employer’s human resources department or your supervisor. You must also provide sufficient information that allows IDI to confirm your identity and locate data pertaining to you in our database(s) if we maintain such information in our database(s). This information includes information such as your name, email address, phone number, address, and whether you’ve lived at your current address for 6 months or more.

You are an individual otherwise subject to a serious risk of physical harm.

  • You must provide sufficient support substantiating the threat against you (e.g., a police report, court protective order, restraining order, proof of acceptance into a “safe at home” program or the like, or similar documentation). Please note that IDI may contact you for a copy of your documentation. You must also provide sufficient information that allows IDI to confirm your identity and locate data pertaining to you in our database(s) if we maintain such information in our database(s). This information includes information such as your name, email address, phone number, address, and whether you’ve lived at your current address for 6 months or more.

All requests made under this Policy must either be submitted via the IDI Non-Disclosure/Opt-Out Request Webform, or mailed to:

IDI will respond to your request within the following time periods:

  • Within the time permitted by law, or
  • Within 90 days for all other compliant requests made under this Policy.

Please note that upon receiving your request, if we determine that additional information is necessary to identify data pertaining to you in our database(s) or verify your eligibility to submit a non-disclosure/opt-out request, we will promptly contact you for further details. In such cases, our response time will be calculated from the date IDI receives all the necessary documentation required to assess your request.

Information provided by you in support of your request will be used by IDI solely in considering your request and communicating with you pertaining to your request. This policy applies to information made available through IDI’s products and services only. Granting your request will not prevent third parties from displaying your personal information.
